NTK Cutting Tools has announced the addition of a new holder to its CUT DUO series for parting operations, featuring an insert width of 2.5 mm and supporting a maximum parting diameter of Ø25.4 mm.
The new lineup, compared to the previous model (maximum parting diameter Ø34.0 mm), has been optimized for improved rigidity, delivering superior stability and precision.
The polished insert relief surface not only enhances cutting sharpness but also reduces cutting resistance, which contributes to extended tool life.
The holder also supports internal coolant supply, which significantly reduces tool wear and improves chip evacuation, ensuring smooth and trouble-free machining over the long term.
