NTK Cutting Tools has announced the expansion of its DS-HOLDER Series of sub spindle tools with the addition of the “DS-GTTL-OH“.

This new model features internal coolant supply, which not only significantly reduces tool wear but also breaks chips into smaller pieces, ensuring efficient chip evacuation.

The system is particularly effective in grooving operations, where delivering coolant to the cutting edge is typically challenging.
By maintaining a constant and stable coolant flow to the tool tip, chip entanglement on the workpiece is greatly minimized, resulting in smoother and more reliable machining.
